Vasculitis UK: supporting patients every day

Living with vasculitis – or supporting someone who does – can feel isolating, particularly in the early days after diagnosis. Vasculitis UK exists to change that. The charity supports patients of all ages living with all forms of vasculitis, providing trusted information, a listening ear, and a community for people navigating what can be a complex and life-changing condition.

Their website at vasculitis.org.uk offers plain-language information on each vasculitis disease – written by medical experts – covering diagnosis, treatment, and what to expect. There are dedicated resources for newly diagnosed patients, downloadable factsheets, and a professionals section with guidelines and published summaries for clinicians and students.

Getting in touch

The Vasculitis UK Helpline is available for anyone seeking information or advice:

Phone: 0300 365 0075

The team takes calls weekdays between 10.00 and 18.00, and on Saturdays between 10.00 and 14.00. As a small team, you may occasionally reach their messaging service – but messages are checked several times throughout the day and they will get back to you.

You can also contact them by email via the website.

Whether you are newly diagnosed, have been living with vasculitis for years, or are a carer or family member trying to understand more, Vasculitis UK are there to help.
